Just found fiafans.org, which is "About the Cult of French in Action". Pleasant surprise, after being a fan of the course for so many years. I watched and recorded it when it was first broadcast so many years ago. I learned a lot from it, though I already knew a fair amount of French.
The site has info about the subsequent careers of some of the actors in the series, notably Charles Mayer (a quebecois, apparently) and Valérie Allain. There is much discussion (and desperation) concerning the disappearance of Virginie Comtesse, who played Marie-Laure.
